Job Responsibilities

• Creating and documenting detailed, comprehensive test cases based on requirements and specifications provided by the development team.
• Executing test cases manually or using automated testing tools to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects found during testing using bug tracking systems, and collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborating closely with software developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing activities align with project requirements and timelines.
• Assisting in coordinating and facilitating user acceptance testing with end-users or clients to validate that the software meets their requirements and expectations.
• Reviewing technical documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and user manuals, to ensure accuracy and completeness from a quality assurance perspective.
• Conduct field visit if the assigned project requires it.

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent department from any reputed University.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Familiarity with software development methodologies.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in documenting test cases and test plans.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in testing.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be a team player with ethics & professionalism.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
