Job Responsibilities

• Creating and documenting detailed, comprehensive test cases based on requirements and specifications provided by the development team.
• Executing test cases manually or using automated testing tools to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects found during testing using bug tracking systems, and collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborating closely with software developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing activities align with project requirements and timelines.
• Reviewing technical documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and user manuals, to ensure accuracy and completeness from a quality assurance perspective.
• Conducting regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs correctly after changes and updates.
• Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and techniques used within the organization.
• Assisting in coordinating and facilitating user acceptance testing with end-users or clients to validate that the software meets their requirements and expectations.
• Providing support to end-users or clients by investigating and resolving reported issues or inquiries related to software quality and functionality.

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent department from any reputed university.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 months of experience is needed in relevant fields.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in documenting test cases and test plans.
• Exposure to bug tracking and reporting systems.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in testing.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be a team player with ethics & Professionalism.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
• Good understanding of testing RESTful APIs with Swagger.
• Experience with automation tools like Postman, Selenium, JMeter etc. will be a plus.
